Wyer has thirty years of diverse business experience. He co-founded a global nutritional company and branched out into regulated industries. He also founded Wyer Creative Communications, Inc., a communications firm that grew to 400 employees and two national call centers. In 1999, he was inducted into the Nashville Chamber of Commerce Hall Of Fame, and his company was named one of the fastest-growing companies in middle Tennessee for five consecutive years.
Wyer has worked with a variety of companies throughout his career, including General Electric, Equitable Securities, CTX, Bann One, and First USA. His work has helped shape the mortgage industry and helped several companies with their marketing strategies. He has also served as a member of the Direct Marketing Association, Mortgage Bankers Association, and eMarketing Association.
In 2006, Wyer started FlexHedge, a structured finance company, and has been involved in other business ventures as well. He has also founded Reputation Advocate, an internet-based firm that helps companies protect and manage their reputation and manage negative publicity. He enjoys reading and writing.
